i havent felt the baby move at all today, i tried laying down for a few hours to see if i felt anything but nothing, im extremly worried, my husband and mil are telling me that everything ok, but should i be concerned? with my first son he was always moving. i havent felt a single thing all day, what do you ladies think? my hubby keeps telling me to wait until tomorrow and see if he moves any through the night or what ever but i dont think we should wait...........

If you dont htink you guys should wait I'd call your doctor or L&D! If nothing else just to ease your mind!

Go to the hospital right now! If you have even laid down and actually focused on feeling him move and have not, then you need to see a doctor. Lack of movement is always cause for concern. If it turns out to be nothing, great...but I would go in immediately.

Do not wait please call your doctor...or just go to the hosp...normally after you've eaten or drank something your baby is supposed to be highly active at least one hour after that...i wouldnt wait til tomorrow...hope everythings ok

Have you tried anything carbonated, like gingerale? If you don't feel anything after laying down and drinking either oj or pop then I'd head to L&D.Let us know!

yes I would just go to L&D and get on the monitor...around that time in my last pregnancy I started having the same problem and found out I had too much fluid from GD so I NEVER felt the baby.

If "YOU" feel concerned, not your hybby or mil, then go to the er! I wouldnt be leaving anything to chance. It could be nothing but no need to put yourself through another night of stress thinking about it. Good Luck!!!

I'd go to the hospital NOW and call them in the car. Good luck,

Mine will do that sometimes, and I had to drink 2 glasses of OJ, eat a candy bar and a muffin and that still took him about 30 minutes to move. For me personally laying on my left side does not work and if I just lay down on my back I feel him better. If you've already tried that, then I wouldn't wait around until tomorrow and would go to L & D, don't bother to call them or your doc cause they are going to tell you the same thing, to come in. Hope everything is okay...

if you've already tried eating/drinking things and laying down, and STILL no movement... yes i would be worried too. just go to L&D, you're not going to look stupid if nothing's wrong! better safe than sorry, as some people have already mentioned...

I would go b/c that's what the L&D are there for, if not your gonna be up all night scared. Like someone else said it's better to be safe than sorry.

i agree with everyone else, I'd call L&D. They most likely have you come in and hook you up to a fetal monitor, and most likely everything will be fine, but it's better safe then sorry. At least to ease your mind!
