Do u think my dr would..

Induce me because of overwhleming stress and depression?? Or is that just stupid?

they might medicate you for it... I know I was on like 2 xanax a day by the time Aidan was born and they didn't induce me until a week after my due date ONLY because my amniotic fluid was low

You could ask for an amnio to see where the lungs are but most dr's won't induce unless you are 39 weeks. You can always ask. However I would tell your dr how depressed you are now because after the baby the hormones drop and can make it even worse. See if getting on something helps the depression and stress.

Nope.... they just give you meds....... depression is not a medical reason for a x section

how is having your baby early going to help??? Babies are alot of stress premie or not. Just hang out and chill

I doubt he is going to induce you for that. My doc is hesitant to induce me and i need surgery

nope go get meds but doctors wont induce for that

They wont induce you. My friend's hasband was cheating on her & they were going through a divorce & she was so depressed & stressed but they wouldn't do it & she had 3 weeks to go. The only way they will induce is if the safety of your child was at risk... I.E. obsessive scratching of the skin, toxicemia (sp?), kidney problems, etc. The only reason they'd say no is because the longer your baby is inside the healthier they will be. I had my daughter early & she was fine for the most part except for a huge hole in the middle of her nose & having cancer. But her body didn't develope all the way of it wouldn't have been there.

Only if there's an identifiable medical condition causing it, you know something like a brain tumor( I know that reads as possibly being Snarky but not meant to be). And that's only because of the fact that it'll be far more dangerous for the baby inside than out.

on another note i think its selfish you would want to put the stress on the baby because U are stressed.....
