He doesnt have to be accountable for my child on a daily basis so its easier to just forget.

At the very least, he still sees her. I guess you don't tell her about the child support drama.

Oh no way. My parents divorced when I was 2, and I was always thankful that they didnt do that to me...

That's good. But, it sucks that he lets her play out her fantasies with him but, doesn't really come to bat for her.

I'm proud of you that you don't bring Maddy into it. Hold out and leave his parents out of it too. But, if you're short on funds, I don't see a problem asking them for a little help. (without mentioning the child-support) Couldn't you ask them with a little help with school supplies?

I know you don't want to have to beg.But, if you need help and he's not coming through, you have to do something.

We will see. The only thing I have left to buy is socks , underwear and new shoes. So it could be worse. I wanted to take her for a haricut too, but I saved a few bucks for that. I will bet he gives me some money tommorow. Atleast I can get some of that stuff bought. Its just such a vicious cycle he has started by owing me to begin with.
