Just when I thought I would be one of the lucky ones...

I thought I would be one of the lucky ones.. no strech marks.. but unfortunately.. this past two weeks have been strech mark city on my sides.

I'm twenty five weeks along. Is that normal? or do you think I'm gaining too much weight at one time?

Anyway.. I had high hopes because my mom was pretty much super woman.. no strech marks with a 9 and 1/2 lb baby boy and a 7 1/2 lb baby girl. Both delievered naturally with no meds. Now I'm thinking. . . well, if I got strech marks... I wonder if I will not be able to go natural. oh no. lol.

lol. My mom had stretchmarks with all of her kids and she delivered naturally. And all of us were 8 lbs.

Btw, it's normal for stretchmarks to pop up overnight.

I just hope they dont get TOO bad :/

And feel lucky, I'm only 21 weeks and I have them EVERYWHERE. lol.

Sorry, but they do get bigger and reder as time goes on. But the lucky thing is that they do fade! I started to get mine around 25 weeks, now I have heeps. I'm only expecting them to get worce.

I had them on my boobs, hips and butt by 20 weeks...now at 38 almost 39 weeks I count myself lucky to just have them there with only 1 on my belly, but I know I'm not in the clear yet.
You can discover ones even after having the baby!

i thought i was lucky too but i got them right around then
i think i was 26 weeks when i noticed them first
n i mean theyliterally popped up overnight
n they just kept getting worse..i look like i have zebra skin on my belly n my sides
all you can really do is make sure to keep them really lotioned up
thatll help them from getting itchy
ive heard some people talk about if you take vitamin e pills then it helps you from getting them
but i think its too late for me to try that lol
and im planning on trying bio oil or mederma..that stuff for scars
ive heard it fades them really good
id ask your doctor n she might have some advice

ha ha i feel ya. some weeks ago i posted the same thing, no stretch marks yea, and tell me if i didnt wake up the next mornin to the 1st evil little line, I was horrified. My mom is 4'10 and had both me and my brother with not one strecth mark to her name, that bites!!! I send some dust that youll get no more your way
