Small things to buy.

What are some smaller cheaper things I can buy for my baby? I mean like, just anything that I will need for herbefore she's born. My fiance gives me $50 a paycheck to get baby stuff, lol. I wanted to get clothes, but I already have so much clothes, and haven't even had my baby shower yet! So I was wondering what could I get, besides clothes, that I'll need...Smaller things. I want to make a list.

Bottles, socks (you'll need lots bc I lost them all the time lol), pacifiers if you're going to use them, bottle brushes, diapers.

Think baby bath stuff. .lotion and such.

socks and mits (for when the baby is born, not to scratch him/herself), recieving blankets/burp cloths, bibs, cute little hats (i always get the ones with little ears on it, but my boyfriend says they look stupid.  ), pacis, wipes, the general medical things (thermometor, nail clippers, the suction thingyi forget what its called, lol, etc)

toys
teethers
bottles (even if youre not planning on bottle feeding, shit happens)
receiving blankets
books
pacifiers (a few of a cpl different brands, some babys are picky)
burp cloths (we use cloth diapers, they work great!)
lotion
washing soap


i wouldnt buy too many packs of diapers or wipes until the baby is here, some babys have allergies to certain brands and that would be wasted money. happened to us! you could just buy some gift cards to be spent on diapers and wipes though.

I heard you can never have enough babyblankets.

and yes, you can never have enough receiving blankets! they get spit up on, pooped on, peed on... haha.

Oh jeez, I went crazy with hats, I have TONS! And lots with the little ears! I love em!

but if you di buy diapers early and wipies you can just get a baby rash cream also just in case the baby does end up getting a rash from them and use that till u figure out what the baby really does like! i wasnt going to buy diapers or wipes but.. my good friend who has 5 kids taught me that lil trick

What about stocking up on diapers and wet wipes. Do you have things like nail scissors, thermometer etc. Check out this baby layette list - it's got everything on it.

If I was you, I would just save that money for after your baby shower bc maybe ppl will end up buying the smaller things.
