normal IBS cramps?

hi all
im 5 weeks and 4 days pregnant with my first child and im very scared! ive suffered from IBS ever since i can remember and since i got pregnant i have been having bad cramps! im very scared that the cramps arent normal and that i will m/c or that my pregnancy is ectopic... the doctor says its probably just my ibs... has any1 been through this? can any1 help me?

I have IBS to and i get cramps when i have to go to the toilet
are your cramps the same as the ones you had before you got pregnant?

I'm lucky, my IBS hasn't flared up much only twice I think during this pregnancy. Its a nice relief. I know some people can get it really bad during pregnancy

to be honest i cant tell! the early pregnancy cramps seem to be getting mixed together with IBS cramps which makes it very hard to tell if they feel the same or not! i also have light pain on one side but cant tell where its coming from... can be my colon or my ovary! its very confusing  

do you get cramps after eating certain foods
or is that just from my lactose intolenance ( i forget what systoms go with what )

are you stressing and then getting the cramps

as i said mine are more from having to do a poo ( sorry )
just write down when you are getting the cramps and write down what you were doing when you got them - before you got them ( if possible ) - and after them

i know how you feel . i worry about my cramps too.
