Redefining abortion.

The Bush Administration wants to redefine "abortion" to include birth control. "Health and Human Services officials are considering a draft regulation that would classify most birth control pills, the Plan B emergency contraceptive and intrauterine devices as forms of abortion because they prevent the development of fertilized eggs into fetuses.

wow, isnt that why birth control is called birth control abortion pill? i thought that birth control became useless if you became pregnant on it anyway. I got pregnant on bc and didnt know it so i kept taking my pills till i realized i was pregnant and my son is fine

so that would include like orthotricyclen and yasmin and the depo shot too??? Thats a long article with big words and I'll be the first to admit I confuse easy!

its if you have an accidnet like the condom breaks and you can go to the phramacist and get Plan B and it will stop you from becoming pregnant. but you have to take it withing 72 hours of the incident

And if you read the article, it states that it will not require congressional approval. Also pharmacists can refuse to fill perscriptions, and insurance companies don't have to cover the costs.
