The perfect shower gift.

So I am sitting at home with no vehicle or ambition to get up and go if I had one here just waiting on DH to get home from work. Then it hits me the perfect baby shower gift that I wish I had gotten. TUMS! I have heartburn so bad and it sucks. Im outta tums and have nowhere to turn. So in the future with every baby shower gift I give I will now include a pack of TUMS.

What worked for me when i didnt have any was a nice cold glass of milk it hels w heart burn ! great idea tho !!!!

Yeah he has to bring home the milk too. We are pretty much out of everything. So glad he works at a grocery store.

I had tums on my night stand next to my bed all the time, lol, i loved me some tums, that is a perfect shower gift!

i used to like those puffy softish peppermints from the dollar store and cvs, the pepermint flavor wasn't too overpowering, lime and blue flavor ice popcicles helped me too

MMMM I should stock up on them mints. Never heard of that working before but I do love those mints so a way better choice than tums. Thanks.

I had a bottle of Tums in every room & in every car when I was preggo. However, Rolaids Soft Chews work even better. They also got rid of the horrible bloating that I had during my second trimester.

With every baby shower gift, I include a present for mom. The present for mom is Burt's Bees Belly Butter (Mama Bee), Rolaids Soft Chews, and at least one book... usually it's the "Week-by week book of Baby's First Year"and Vicki Iovine's "The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy." Sometimes I buy, "Belly Laughs" by Jenny McCarthy...
