A place called home

So my boyfriend and i are going literally NUCKING FUTS living here
in Boise, ID.
We're looking for somewhere not too big but not too small.
25thousand people or so.
Somewhere I or my son (in the late future) can walk around at night and not worry about freaks. i know their everywhere, but u know what i mean.
I was just wondering where all of you are from and if its the "ideal" place to start a family and raise a child. Good schools, parks, activities. You know!

well, i live in dickinson, north dakota. i know everybody thinks north dakota sucks but it really doesnt. the city i live in is about 18,000 people but i think its a good sized town to raise a child in. thats why im staying here. we were gonna move to minot. its about 25, 000 people but it was just to big for us

I live in Green Bay, Wisconsin and I loooove it! I'm really excited to raise my son here.

Ya i've been in Boise my whole life, its about 200+thousand. i hate it here, its become too violent and crazy.
Isnt North Dakota pretty cold?

we are in salem ohio and i love it. it is the perfect small town. but its only 30 mins from a bigger city so its nice that way.

yes, they have the most beautiful cherry trees that line the main street through town. its gorgeous in spring. its a ton of older houses (like a couple hundred years) and everyone has updated them so it looks really nice when driving through town.

Whats its neighboring city?

yes it does get really cold in north dakota. im used to it though. i've lived here my whole life and i think the coldest its ever been is -30 but that was when i was really little. it doesnt get that cold anymore

well there is canfield/boardman(30 min)that is where the mall and every storeis. but the next big city would be youngstown (45 min). not far from akron and canton too(1 hr in the other direction).
