I need some help/ opinions

posted 16th Aug
me and eric are going out to dinner for the first time on sunday since ive had the baby and i will be 4 weeks pp. I had a c-section and was wondering if we should do anything sexually im barley bleeding at all so i dont think that would matter. we really need to spice things up in our relationship.
also im afraid that ill spend the whole time im away from my baby crying when my mil took him home and me and eric stayed at the exibition i spent most of the time crying because i missed my baby so much and im scared that will happen again.
so any opinions are welcome
thanks.

I had a c-section too, and I was able to have sex at 4 weeks pp, but I think you should ask your doctor.

you should really wait until your dcoc gives you the ok at 6 weeks. chances of infection are pretty good.

my surgeon told me to not have sex for six weeks after i had my c section. i would follow your doctors orders because you dont want to injure yourself.

just try to relax and have a good time. if you start missing the baby call home to check up, but its ok to go out and enjoy yourself every once in a while

just keep telling yourself that he will be alright. you said your mother in law was watching him right? grandmas are some of the best babysitters there are!

I had the same problem just remember it's only for a little bit and your baby will be right there when you get back. One of the best things you can do for your child is to have a good relationship with the father so you need to nuture that relationship too.
