Feeling pretty satisfied

I got up this morning, did a bunch of cleaning and sewing, helped my partner rearrange the house (I pointed at where things should go and he moved them, hehehe), set up more of the nursery and put the finishing touches on my daughter's room, which we just redecorated (we didn't want her to be jealous about all the baby stuff we were buying so we fixed her room up too).
I'm about to go make some curtains for the baby's room/ guest room, and clean out the pantry and put all the dry goods in the new glass jars we bought last week. My boyfriend's been great, he's been vacuuming and cleaning the toilet and disinfecting the garbage bins, and doing all the gross stuff I don't want to do. He even told me to go lie down and have a rest for 30mins while he kept cleaning and organising things, because he was worried I'd done too much!
So yeah, I'm in a great mood and I feel really efficient and accomplished. I'm doing the last things for the baby's room tomorrow, hopefully, so I'll post pics once I'm done

i am so impressed with the fact that you said that you SEW!!
i bought a sewing machine about a year ago, tried it , and put it back in the box! its so difficult!!
wow!! --think of the things that you could make for a baby with a sewing machine!

Yeah, I'm definitely in nesting mode The stuff I've been sewing is for the baby's room. I couldn't find bed linen I liked, so I made a bunch of stuff myself. I'm really proud of it, the room looks great! I'll definitely post pics once it's all finished!

I've managed to pick up rubbish and what not, but I still haven't done the washing up or empty the bin...I must do it before 4pm as gar is back for break then. but I really cannot be bothered lol
I'm more than happy just knitting baby clothes, but I can't let gareth do all the work, it's not far on him...even though he never once complains...I'm not one for cleaning, the only nesting I've done is cleaning the rubbish from our room, doing all the washing, and later I'm in two minds about putting the cot bumpers on the crib...

I'm not normally into cleaning, although I do love decorating and reorganising things My partner is a complete neat freak though, so I have it pretty easy around here.
I'm knitting baby clothes too! I thought I might even crochet a blanket for the baby, which maybe he'd want to keep to use for his kids (if he decided to have any). I'm feeling super crafty and creative these days. I love making things for the baby and for my daughter
