Lylian's first E.R. trip :(

Well yesterday she was playing on the floor as usual, and she came up to the couch and started choking on something. I flipped her over and did back blows and she was fine. Nothign came out, so i figured she either choked on spit or paper(she has a paper eating fetish  ) anywho, After awhile i took her up to take a bath. We got in the bath(yes i take baths with her, much easier) and she was playing and started chokign again, but this time she wasn't breathing. Her face turned bright red and then i flipped her over and did back blows again. She was fine. I was pretty scared though because i wanted to know what she kept choking on. I hoped i didnt have to call 911 because we were both wet and naked haha. Well, i looked at her and asked her what she had in her mouth(obviously i know she wont talk back haha). I swiped her mouth to see if anything was in there and i didnt feel anything. So, i let her go back to playing in the tub. i looked at her and she was like chewing on something, so i asked her aain what she had, she wouldnt let me in her mouth, so i fliped her over the side of the tub at an angle hopign she would open her mouth and drop whatever was in there. She didn't of course. so i put her on my lap and she was still chewing it. So i swiped her mouth again, and still nothing. So, i watched her chew aain, and i saw the light glare off something in her mouth. so i forced her to open her mouth and i got pretty harsh this time because i wanted it out of her mouth. I got it out and it was a PIECE OF GLASS!! WTF!? where would she get a pice of glass?! I jumped out of the tub and got us both dressed. I didn't know for sure if that was the only piece she had, or if it scratched her upor anything. I didnt know where the hospital was, and Sam was at work, and i couldnt get ahold of him, they were in an area with no cell service, of course. So i called his work and they couldnt get ahold of him either. So, I called my friend Ashlee and she offered to go with me. We got in the car and went and got Ashlee and then we got on the express way the wrong way in rush hour, so we had to go waaay out of the way to turn around, then it took forever to backtrack. but we finally got to the hospital. They checked her in, did an X-ray to see if they saw anything on there. They didn't see anything, but they made her drink some pedialyte to see if she got sick or had problems drinking it. after a long long wait, Sam finally got to the hospital, after going to the wrong one, then having a police officer lead him to the right one. Well, she's fine today, but i have to watch her for a couple more days for vomiting, swallowing problems, bloody stoole, or anythign that may be out of the ordinary.

that is so scary.  keep us updated and let us know if she's ok!

Holy crap, momma. That scared me just READING about it, let alone how YOU must have felt at the time! You did the right thing, with everything, IMO. I'm sure she'll be fine.

I'm off to go search the floor for ANYTHING now, LOL.

geezzzzzzz omg i hope shes ok!!!!! but babies can find EVERYTHING! eyes like hawks!, its scary!!!!!
