re: Baby Crib

We got ours at Walmart.com and did the site-to-store thing... it's one of those convertibles and I LOVE it... it's by BabyMod, I think after tax it was like, $323??

ours came from walmart aswell. i love it . its sterdy and cost less then 200 dollers.

Wow. You played it up really nice with the little drapes and everything! :] I bought a pack 'n' play today for $40, it was resale so I thought it was a pretty good deal. I really like a crib at Target, but I'm not sure if it's sturdy and everything since they only have the product online.

yeah I knew I wnated a canopy right from the beginning... lol, I pretty much had in mind EXACTLY what I wanted (espresso colored, solid head and footboards.. wanted it to look like a "bed")and hubby was gonna pay what needed to be paid for my vision... lol, we have the mobile on it now too and it's just perfect!! lol...

ooh that one's pretty... i love the dark colors, they just seem to go with so much and make the room much more saturated looking... Graco is usually pretty good.

Yeah, dark colors do seem to pretty much go with anything. I'm just not sure if I want to spend $150 on something that I can't see in person before I buy it. I've looked on Craigslist for cribs, and no one has contacted me back. Ugh. So many things to do in so little time :]

Have you tried e-bay? Manufacturers sometimes off load extra stock on e-bay and it comes straight out of the box! Also try overstock.com. You may be lucky and find something there. Otherwise check out this page. It has all sorts of tips for finding inexpensive cribs - maybe it will help you.
