active baby at night!

ok so idk what world this baby is living in but omg this child is so active at night. during the day i feel her but not as much as i do at night its like oh hey mom is going to sleep so let me have a party lol i enjoy her moving and everything but i also want to get some sleep!

The baby is more active at night because she spends all day sleeping during the day while you are out doing things. Your walking rocks her to sleep.
So at night while you're not moving, shes up, having a good time. =P

Take some Tylenol PM or Benedryl before bed. Works wonders for me!

I found it a little easier if I didn't eat for at least two hours before going to bed.

diddo my little one has a party when i'm trying to sleep, its because at night your still so shes awak, when your up waling around it rocks them to sleep! that how they come out all mixed up with there days and nights

at night my son thinks its dance practice time..
i think he is practicing break dancing with a little river dance and to top it all of gymnastics...
i noticed if i take a shower right before bed i cant get some sleep..

I would take med unless you have some kind of pain! Taking the TY PM or BEN just drugs the baby for no reason!

haha same here & they say no 2 pregnancies r alike and thats so true with my 1st it wuld b the opposite she wuld move like crazy during the day and at night she would calm down!

Don't make taking the Benadryl a nightly habit obviously (pregnant or not) but if you've been staying up for nights on end and not getting any good sleep to the point where you are not alert in the day, you need to take something. A car accident due to an groggy driver will hurt the baby way more than a Tylenol PM will.

I really agree! I don't even take tylenol when I have a headache! Everything we take goes to the baby!

Including the stress hormones caused from withstanding the pain.
I did not martyr myself - if I had pain or was sick, I took Tylenol for it or whatever my doctor recommended, and my baby is fine and strong and happy.

if your sick yeah take it, I was just saying don't take it for the heck of it because your baby is active and it takes you a few more extra mins to fall asleep!

my baby is like this as well so i did some research && found that the reason why some babies are so active at night is because during the day the mother is active [moving around etc.] so it rocks the baby to sleep. then during the night when the mother is relaxing the baby is fully awake && exploring its world.
