Okay, so Alijah will be turning the Big 1 on Aug 30th!   and ive been looking at diff themes and got alot of great ideas for da party..im tryn 2 be on a budget but theres just sooo many cute things i cant help but buy..i found a few diff websites

For my sons I got a hat and outfit that was all about his bday. I was able to get pics done in it and take him out and about in it as well as for the party. I love doing the first bday outfit bigger.

As for the party I picked a theme I loved. Then I bought The invites for the theme and got balloons to go with it. I got a banner and one set of dessert and dinner plates. I made the cake and the smash cake to help save money. I went just with a few pops of things for the theme. It kept my budget in check but allowed the theme to shine.

I did the same thing for his second bday, but that was Thomas themed, so I got my bro to make train ticket invites (big money saver to make your own). He had an outfit he could wear a lot that went along with the theme. We made a train cake. Got a train pinata. No banners or plates in the theme, but the few punches were enough.

The first birthday is a big deal but why spend a crap load of money on something that's really for you? He's one. He's not going to remember it or care what it's like, haha. All my family in friends just get cute outfits and a birthday hat, have cake and icecream and get together.

my sons first bday is in about an hour and a half and we decorated everything in the party city stuff. it cost about $50 minus balloons.
all of the stuff is REALLY cute. i think it will turn out good. ill tell you how it goes and take some pics.

For libs birthday we are having a lil pool party, and she has about 7 little baby friends so we're getting 7 little cakes for a baby cake smushing contest. All her decoration were maybe 30 bucks tops (i went to dollarama) and they are all pink with little flowers on them that say "happy 1st birthday", the cake mixes were 1.00 at superstore for the cake smushing and i admit it we spent waaaay to much money on her presents...we got her a toy kitchen (it was 35 dollars on sale at wal mart i so couldnt pass that up!!) , a little tike car she can ride in and a set of 75 balls she can play in. So all together we didnt spend that much money, looking for sales is the best plan. I wouldnt go all out, i mean it is only their first birthday they wont remember much so theres no point in going overboard, just do something you know alijah will have fun with!

Our limit is 100 dollars... most of that will be on food for the adults though. We're trying to make our own to save whatever money we can
