i don't want to be a statistic because people have rash ideas about teen moms and how they are all the same and how they won't amount to anything. my sister is a teen mom however yeah she does mess up from time to time she still takes care of my nephew who is now one and she is a high school grad now working full time and taking care of my nephew and as well in college. i however don't want to be a statistic because they say teen moms are bad moms well how to they know? you know there are alot of teen moms who are great moms. yeah the men may not stick around however if the moms are strong and willing they can and will do anything they set their minds to.

true that, although im giving my son to another family, the statistics are never about the good ones, always the bad.
and kudos to your sister, i just dont have the money for college and i want my child to be able to go..and im just not equipt enough but congrats and best wishes.

thank you and your a strong person to be able to give your son life and give him to a family who may not be able to have children. that is a very inspiring story. my sister is going thru an online shool. and i hear ya i would want my baby to go to colllege as well.

all of this seems like bull. i'm 20 years old with my second child on the way. i could not ask for anything more. my son is the coolest most well-behaved child and i could not imagine a day with out him and just because your young doesnt mean you can't be a great parent. there are 30 year old people out there who rape and murder their children and yet we are worried about how shitty of a job a 17 year old will do. well i have my head on my shoulders and i'm a good person so who's to say that teenagers will be bad parents???? anyone can be a bad parents not just teenagers.

Does she know you are pregnant? The best thing you can do is be honest with her. Believe it or not, but your mother is probably going to be your biggest support in all of this and the person you will want the most to be around.

seriously i was 16 when i first got pregnant and my mom was furious we didnt talkfor like 2 months and i had to stay with family because we would fight so bad. but you need to explain your feelings and be honest with her. after everything was said and done she was the only one there for me and she accepted what happened and my decision to keep the baby. and my son is 2 1/2 years old now and she is still my biggest help. so just be strong things will work themselves out. your mom will forgive you eventually. try not to stress over it too much. i know it sucks i've been there and done that. good luck

tell your mom how you feel tell her what your worried about! If shes angry let her be, honestly shes probably scared to. its hard to be a parent to a pregnant teen heck its hard be a husband to a pregnant wife so...... just be honest with her and realize its going to be hard but not impossible
