Yes, anyone who has a child should take responsibilities for their actions. And Mara created the teen pregnancy/parenting for them so they can get that support from others in their situation. And hopefully overcome the stigma that teen parenting has. I wish teen mothers nothing but the best of luck, it's hard at any age to have a child.

it's incredibly irresponsible and even delusional for teenagers to be TTC at all.

honestly, i wish that 13 and 14 year olds wouldn't have sexual intercourse at all.
(there are lots of other ways to sexually interact w/out putting a penis into a vagina), but it's impossible to prevent them from doing it, so yes, accidents happen every day.

if they have a supportive family, then i can support them in their desire to be responsible and try to raise their child, but if their families aren't going to be there for them, i honestly believe that adoption is often the better option (for both the teen and the baby) when they are that young.

at first they were really upset.
but after a few days they started getting better with it.
& now everyone in my family is so happy hes here.

Ok i'm one statistic, if you wanna put it that why... but it was a choice because i am married... one thing i do regret is having sex so early.... i do not support teens having sex at 14 15 16 or even 17. They should definitely be putting their focus on something else like school.

i know you got pregnant having sex at the age of 14... so perhaps you're biased, but do you honestly think that you were really ready to get pregnant and have a baby at that age?

there's a reason why it's considered rape when a person under the age of 18 has sex w/ a person over the age of 18.

personally, i don't consider it rape in the cases where it's consensual -- as when it occurs between a 16 year old and a 19 year old--despite the fact that most states will enforce that as statutory rape.

that said, i do understand the logic of the law, which is: teenagers are not able to give fully informed consent b/c they are not mentally or sexually developed enough.

it is a physical fact that your brains are still developing into your early 20's -- you literally do not have the physical capacity to make decisions that an adult has.

they can do whatever they want. and no one is ready for a baby at this afe but now im do a hell of a job raising my son. teens are still people and have the right to choose that they want to do.

legally, they're considered dependents and not adults-- you're not emancipated from your dependant status until you're 18 years of age.

so-- yes, in one sense, they are people, but the law doesn't give them the freedom to do whatever they want until they're 18.

and where do you draw the line?

do you think it's acceptable for a 12 year old to have sex?

or a 10 year old?
