Will this ever end?

Peyton's father won't sign away his rights to him- We finally spoke last night after over 7 months. Basically, he doesn't want anything to do with him right now but he doesn't feel comfortable with saying that he never will. What a POS! I'm sorry, but that's not how it works. You are either a parent, or you're not. If you don't want him now, what's going to change later on to make you suddenly want to? I don't get that. He is the one that suggested that we get the paterntiy test but now he doesn't want to do it because then he'll have to make a decision. I finally told him everything I have been wanting to say to him all this time and it felt SO good! I told him his reasoning for not being around because of the distance was just an excuse and that it was sad that he talked so much before about how he loved his family so much but he didn't seem to care about his own baby. I know I made him feel like shit and I don't care. It sounded like he started slamming stuff around in the background at one point. He also got a bit emotional a couple times but he turned that off real quick. Its like he's trying so hard not to care about his child, but I know its eating at him. I told him that I don't feel sorry for him because he has no idea what I have been through the past 10 months.

Also, apparently he got busted by his girlfriend and he thinks that I had something to do with it. WTF?? I am sorry that you are a cheating liar but I don't even know this girl's name. How would I ever even find her to tell her anything? I told him that, but I don't think he believes me. Whatever, I could care less. I have one word for him: Karma! Well, basically what I have decided to do is wait about a month or so and if I don't hear from him by then, I will change my number again and delete my myspace page, etc. That way, if he really genuinely cares about his son then he will have to put the effort in to finding us. If he truly doesn't care, he will let it go.

Wow... I love how BOYS think they can choose when they are or aren't in their childs life.... It's disgusting.

If you really want him to sign off his rights when you change your number and stuff make sure you have no contact and after 6months its abandonment. he will lose his rights anyway. Good luck Hun!!

Exactly! I told him that that was not fair at all to Peyton and certainly not to me. I asked him how i was supposed to explain to my son that he father just all the sudden decided that he cares when he's never been around before. That is just so confusing to a child, and I know because my dad tried to pull that crap with me. I just want a final answer here and I know he's not going to give me one... A$$!!!
