I remember I was 7 when my sister got hers, and they didn't explain it to me, so I went out and told the whole neighborhood my sister started her period, I had no idea what it was. I remember getting in SO much trouble that night, My Mom also explained what it was... I then waited and waited, My sister was 11 when she started but I didn't start until I was 15.
