nuva ring?

anyone out there use the nuva ring....what do you think of it?

just got it today I LOVE IT i was a little weirded out about putting it in but u caNT feeel it i love it

I had it for about 4 months..it was good becuase i couldnt feel it...bf could feel it during sex but i've heard some ppl just take it out for sex and put it back in afterward....I didnt trust it much so we used condoms every time...im on the iud now.

There was a thread not to long ago about this.....quite a few girls responded saying they got pregnant on it  
I was on it for two months. While I loved the convenience, it was kinda gross. I couldn't feel it while it was in, and taking it in and out was fine, butI had wayyyyyymore dischargethan usual (which grossed me out) and I spotted in between periods both months. I switched because of the spotting.

I know someone who got pregnant on it. It doesn't work so good when you find it in the sheets the next morning......

my bf said he couldnt feel it - i had the iud and i had bad bad cramping and bleeding but thats what i wanted 5 yrs instead of 3 wks

I used it a while back. It's not bad but you have to make sure it doesn't come out! If it's out for 24hrs you have to use backup. I think it's 24hrs...it's been a long time since I was on it! I stopped using it cause I was not having any want for sex but after I went off it I realized it was actually stress from my job! The only problem I had with it is once in a while it made me itchy! (TMI) lol

I've had some girls say that it came out ON their SO's during sex    

my dr said ur still protected up to 24 hours

not 24 hours... i think its 3 hours
i got prego on it, but it was very convienient
i think i got prego because i had an internal ultrasound and took it out before i left and didnt put it back in for about 4 hours

I used it from Jan-Aug of last year and never had any problems. I didnt use any BC after that and got pregnant in April

Me too! I was thinking about Nuva Ring, but Dr. Roach said he would recommend that IUC instead.
