re: Teen Mommies living at home.

i am 18 and i have a ten month old son named noah. i do live at home because my sons dad completely fucked me over. i'm going to school in a week and have applied for an apartment in the city of my college so hopefully i'll get that . i personally dont like living at home. my mom tries to dictate my life . and it drives me crazy. i'm an adult with a child who i take care of single handedly and yet i need my own babysitter??? come on now woman.. i work 2 jobs even if i was into drinking and drugs i wouldnt have time for them . i barely get to see my son as it is so whenever i'm not working i'm with him ... my moms just crazy . maybe your moms better lol ? 

Honestly, i moved across the country pregnant and my boyfriend followed me.I thought by moving i made it easy for him to have an excuse to leave usbut he really surpriced me by showen me he would leave his life to start a new family with me.
Now we areliving with my mother in her two bed room apartment, and hes working almost 12 hours at his new job he gothere.
Even thoe we have plans to eventually move out and get our own place i still feel like am just safer at home. I mean, i want to eventually but for rightnow i guess imstill a lil scared to completely deppend on him. We both still have lots of growing up to do, and with my first child commen, i need all the help i can get. what better person than your own mom.

I had the misfortune of telling my family only 3 weeks before I went into labor (would NOT recommend it!!!!) I had all the advice of 9 months squashed into less than one!
As parents, we have tendencies to give advice about everything (I've caught myself doing it to my friends whether about babies or not!), and honestly, you should listen. They raised you after all, right? And yeah, Mom being overbearing is a pain up the arse, but she's trying to help you through what is for most people a rough and exhausting time in your life. I live with my dad, step-mom and my little brother who has Asperger's disorder (a high-functioning form of Autism) in a three bedroom house. Life is not easy, but the advice my step-mom gives me has actually saved me many a time, even when I didn't want to admit it.
I'm living with them through college. I tried being out on my own and it was horrible. Even with a best-friend roomate who loves my daughter and helped me alot, it wasn't the same. It gives you more time to save up and get education out of the way, and gives you a little more time to grow up.

well i was suppose to be staying at my parents house cause they live 10 minutes away from my doctor which is i live about an hour but things didnt work out because they always had something to say about my relationship and my boyfriend, there was drama cause im preg and they think my man isnt helping, then me and my twin sister are starting not to get along cause of her boyfriend. So i can say my experience was rough and i stuck through it but i got out a couple days ago cause i didnt want all that stress!! And yes mommy and daddy might try to take over but stay strong and raise that child the way you want and if they do or say something you dont approve just say " thanx for the advice/help but i got this from here and if i need some help or advice ill ask"
