4cm and 75% effaced

posted 15th Aug
As of yesterday I was 4cm and 75% effaced, this has progressed from last Friday wehn I was 3 cm and 50% effaced. Since this is my first baby I wanted to know what other mommy's thought (especially ones that have already given birth) as to how much time I have left to get things done??? I had contractions on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights, however when I actually started to time them they would stop. I've had a few contractions again today, but they weren't regular either. The baby has not been moving around as much as he normally does the past few days.

Well some ppl stick at 3-4 for a while, but since you've already shown progress my guess, uneducated since I am not a dr nor am I your body.... lol would be that your baby will be here soon!! Keep walking ... sex (if that's an option and still comfortable) those things help get the ball rolling, but basically once your contractions get regular, the show is on the road... good luck mama!

Oh yeah and decreased movement is normal when baby is getting ready to evacuate ... if you feel nothing than call / go in immediately.... KEEP US UPDATED MAMA.

I was 3cm when I was admitted to the hospital for early labor. Hmm it sounds soon. I walked alot the morning before I went to the hospital, and that helped the contractions! Good luck =]

He's still moving, just not as much as he was a week ago. They won't admit me until I'm 39 weeks anything before that is on my own.

Yeah he still kicks around and get hiccups after I eat certain things, he just isn't constantly moving around. Yeah I'm thinking I'm still another week to a week and a half before I go.

He's really low, I can certainly tell especially when he has the hiccups. He moves, but just not as much, so that must be him getting ready for his grand enterence. I'm thinking at least another week or so.
