what to get host of baby shower?

what do you het the person throwing your baby shower? candle? i have no idea. my shower is on sunday and i want to get my MIL a lil something. i'm pretty broke too

I say a thank you card, would make her feel really good, I'm sure she understands you're broke, and it's not expected to buy anything. So I'm sure she's be really touched, and appreciate if you get her a thank you card!

I have actually been thinking of a massage. Usually the local colleges have massage therapy classes and for an hour it is only like $25.00 at least that is what it is here in AL at virgina college. If you don't think that they would like that you can't go wrong with candles, or a gift certificate.

I sent my sister flowers to her work w/ a thank you card. she loved it!

I got mines personalized shirts that sed Leilas Auntie Alice. But since yer on a budget an kinna las minute , I would say a nice candle should do . But for more meaning give it to her after you open all yer presents an sat a lil thanks in front of everyone .... I HATE my mil btw

that's a good idea. i love my MIL but lately she has been driving me up a freaking wall. i mean the other day hubby said she was coming over and i juist started crying. cuz i don't wanna listen to her bitch about how i need to get my place fixed up and ready for the baby. i know this. i just moved in 2 months ago and into a smaller place then i had previously. so there is no where to put anything.lol
