I have to put together a cd for a memorial service...

All I have right now is Hear You Me by Jimmy Eat World... and I am having a brain fart.

Anyone have any suggestions?

omg, for whomever it was, im sorry!

my brother passed away, gulp, almost 3 years ago (christmas day actually) and the songs i wanted them to play for his memorial were these:

Kenny Chesney "who youd be today"

and Brad Paisley "when i get where im going"

they are SO sad that i cry everytime i hear them and think of my brother, but i think they would make great memorial songs....

wish you were here by incubus is a good one, but theres another "wish you were here" song by Mark Wills that is very good too....its a bit event specific, but the idea comes across well....a husband dies in a plane crash but before he boards the plane, he buys a postcard and fills it out and mails it to his wife, who gets it after he has died...he wrote (something close to) this: wish you were here, wish i could see your face. the weather's nice, its paradise, its summer time all year. everyone here says hello, i miss you so, wish you were here"
