Wednesday at 10pm

I'm getting induced and all I can do is worry and cry, I mean I am more then happy, this is just my first and it's just a little overwhelming I guess, how did everyone elses induction go?

mine 2 out of 3 were induced... went GREAT , no problems and i got my epi and was in heaven pushed a bit and bam baby! YAY how exciting for you :-)

when can you ask for a epi when you're getting induced? and how long did it take you to push out the first one and were you dilated at all for it? sorry im just worried and wondering i am 1 1/2 cm 50% efface so i dont know if that helps being induced or not...

only about 3 hours and i asked for the epi AS SOON AS i felt a strong contraction.. dont be a hero.. go ahead and ask.. i only pushed like 5 times with all of them

Congrats. My induction went incredibly well. I was already in labor but they gave me pitocin to speed up the process and he came in a matter of 4 hours! You go at 10 PM?!?! That is going to be a loooong day for you!

Good Luck! I was induced July 09.08 by a balloon catherer(sp?) around 7pm ish and had the catherer removed at 6 am ish the next morning then had my son by 1156am and he weighed 9lbs12oz!! Once you get your epi around 3 to 4 cm I got mine,youll feel tons better! Just make sure they keep your dose's coming bc with my first pregnancy they didnt dose me up in time b4 I started to push so I felt it all, it was pretty bad...but then again I was only 16yrs old and completly lost.lol. So, just make sure you stayed dosed up where you can hardly to not feel any contractions! Good Luck and Easy labor dust momma!

I was not induced, but I remember how overwhelming everything was!!! I was so nervous too!!! But everyone is so nice to you, and if you are getting an epi its great!! I ended up having a c section, and that was not horrible either. If you have any questions you can send me a message!! But you will be taken care of, and just soak in every minute of it. Cause soon you will be holding your little one! =]

well.. i got induced on august 7th and when my doctor broke my water my baby's heart rate dropped into the 40's so i had to have an emergency c-section where i was put to sleep.. then i woke up and i was out of it..it hurt and i was sore and i wasn't sure what had happened but soon after i got to hold my son and it was really sweet.. i cried =/ lol and i was in pain and i was on morphine..but yeah..lol not trying to scare you just trying to be real. if for any reason you have to have a c-section try and walk around as soon as your able to bc you will heal a lot faster and you'll feel better soon..it'll hurt and your whole body will be sore but you'll feel better faster! =) plus, they give you meds so use it to your advantage thats what my doctor told me. lol
