Getting the smell of cat urine out...

posted 15th Aug
So.... apparently one of the cats is pissed off about something, and decided to pee in the tub. Which would've been fine, except my daughter's bath mat was in there... I've scrubbed it with all sorts of cleaners and it still has that stench of urine. Does anyone know what might take the smell out? I am really thinking of just going to buy hera new one... bah..

Either a new one or spray it with vinegar.

is it a male cat-? get him fixed, but if its a gurl maybe her litter is icky n she wants u to change it...as for the mat, i would get a new one, urine is difficult to get out unless u use harsh chemicals-which u dont want on ur babies bath mat...

No, it's a girl.. and her box is scooped daily..

Thanks girls.. I think we will just get a new one and not leave it in the tub next time
