I am dialated 2 cms and have contractions everyday but they are not regular and they go away...I had really bad chest pains...I could barely breathe and they did hella test...they said my son was big and pressing up all my organs and I have to sleep in a upright position..

Call your doctor. Really it could be something else or a sign something isn't right.
As for inducing, most of those remedies won't work until your body is ready. As long as the methods are know not know to cause harm (long walks, nipple stimulation, etc) it's okay to try. You won't go into labor unless your body is ready.
