i still will use drop ins to be on the safe side.. i have been hearing the bpa thing for YEARS

Was never worried in the first place.

Now I'm off to let my kids eat lead paint chips for snack!

well i guess i;m lucky i dont use them anyway, so one less thing i ever had to worry about

I didn't worry either. I bought regular bottles for the baby.

But about the lead paint chips. You should feed them something healthier. At least potato chips are vegatables, right?  

Are you saying I shouldn't be following up paint chips with asbestos milkshakes??

Us is the only one saying they are fine other places like canada are banning them, I have talked to a friend who has a masters in Plastics Engineering and said that bpa is harmful and will not use anything in her home that has bpa in it. Im still going to use bpa free bottles.

and i have so been going crazy the past 3 days about this stupid stuff grrr

BPA free doesn't have to = expensive! I use evenflo classics. You can find them at the grocery store, they fit on a pump in style AND cost under 4.00 for 3! I will be sticking w/my BPA free bottles just to be safe. IF there was even a slight reason to be concerned, it's enoug for me. I can afford 4.00 every few months for a couple of new bottles knowing I'm not putting my child even in a slight risk of getting sick from BPA. Yes, I know it's in a lot of things but, I'd rather avoid it in this instance if I can.
