bi-racial familes

i was wonering what everyone thought of bi-racial familes..or adopting a bi racial child.. into a while family

No different than a same race family, IMO. Not that there aren't challenges out there because there are some seriously ignorant and biased people milling about but for me, color doesn't even register when the family is a unit.

we're a tri-racial family (white, black, hispanic)... its perfectly fine

bi-racial children aways just seem to come out so beautiful. It makes the world a better place to have more diversity, and it makes the people who are bi-racial seem less "different"

And may I add that there are some seriously gorgeous results from people having biracial children. Yowza.

No I think its beautiful. Angelina jolie and Brad Pitt are a great example.

Both my parents are bi-racial, well actually my mom is multi-racial; so yep I 'm aaaaalll for it. in fact if and when I adopt i would love that child to be bi / multi-racil

My nephew is half black and an absolutely gorgeous kid. He's 11 years old and already has girls lined up around the block because they *love* his eyes. He has huge, dark blue eyes, by the way.

Of course I'm all about bi-racial families...I'm in one! And as for parents of one race adopting a child of a different race, I see no problem with that either. All children need the same thing....LOVE.....and the color of your skin does not determine how much orhow little you can give a child.
