re: bi-racial familes

thanks i told my friend that i wanted to adopt a black or asain baby when we could afford it and when iam older and she said i shouldnt because that child wouldhave issues living with a white family...
keep in mind this is the same girl who wanted me to give up my baby because i wasnt married at the time and thought i was too young i was 20 though

My mother was born and raised in Korea...My father the States...My fiance's mother is full mexican and his father is from the same hood as my dad so he will be "Tri-Racial" I think its beautiful...I am half black half asian and I love my features,skin tone,hair and everything!!

Why not? I have 2 kids who are Puerto Rican and 2 that are mixed with Black. I think it's great idea that you can take on a child that needs a home and you can provide a better one than they camr from and show them what love is. Just make sure if you have a girl that her hair gets done right lol. I seen a girl in the mall with her hair tore up and she was with a white woman

I think it's perfectly fine, but if you decide to do it, be ready for judgemental, closed minded people.

If you adopt a black baby you can ask me for hair tips.

Our hair is sometimes hard to care for.

HA! it's funny you say that! I'm terrified of doing my daughter's hair when she gets older....but I'll bedamned if her hair is gonna look horrible....I'll take classes if I have to....

I used to work as a nanny for a family with 18 children (they were white) in their home. They had adopted all of these kids except for one which was theirs. They had 7 african american children, 3 hispanic chilren, and 8 white. I thought it was absolutely amazing what they did and all the kids were so happy to finally be in a home where they were loved (most of them grew up in abusive homes or addicted to drugs)

We do just fine   I think it's more fun being part of a bi-racial family personally.. I didn't really grow up in one but the kids will

My parents are foster parents and have adopted 8 kids out of foster care. 5 of them are black. They also have another foster child whom is biracial (black and white). I love our family!

U r soooo right. To me they seem unique, that's what I love about my entirefamily and my fiance's as well. We're all "Special, Unique"

color or nationality or religion or gender or any of that random stuff is not what makes a family

love is what makes a family
