sex after c section

When is it ok to start having sex again after a c section? My next doctors appt is at the beginning of september, that will be the 6 week mark from my c section. Do I have to wait for my appt and get the ok from my doctor? Everything went fine and I feel completely healed. [I know I am not completely healed but I do feel better] I was just curious! Thanks.

I waited about 8 - 10 days...... take it reallyslow though.... let it be something melow and romantic....any discomfort andyou should probably stop.

Wow you only waited 8-10 days?? Crazy, I thought I had to wait longer.

I waited till my dr cleared me at about 6 weeks the first time and I am 3 almost 4 weeks PP right now. I am going to wait till my appt at 5 weeks and if the dr says ok then we will.

That is exactly why I am waiting!!!! My husband is supposed to go get a vasectomy soon but I don't want to risk it!! I already have 3 kids and I don't think I could handle a 4th!

I have one... I couldnt handle another!!!! I couldnt imagine. I love him to death, but no more for me lol. I cant imagine having three, you must be a super mom.

It's a good idea to wait till you are on BC..... I got pregnant again right away and ended up with a miscarriage...... gotta be careful!

Ya I'm all about safe sex now lol. I think Im going to get on Yaz. I dont want the shot, and I dont want anything in my vagina. So I dont know what else to get.

I hate all forms of BC..... my husband and I are counting days and pulling out..... probably be pregnant again before the year is out!   hehehhehe

But also I'm planning on TTC again in a few months. After this baby I'll probably get a IUD of some sort.

With my first I wanted 5 weeks and we took it slow. This time we barely made it a week! We are naughty. Scariest part, symptoms of being prego again! YIKES!!!! Don't want to tell my dr that story....Tgey say 6-10 weeks for c-sectionbut goodluck waiting! I loved YAZ by the way
