im getting married in one year today..15th Aug...wooohoooo

i just realised todays date and realised that i one years time i will be getting married.....woooohoooo i cant wait!!!!!!!!

its so exciting but also nerve racking....i know the day will go so fast i just hope i will remember it all!!

how long have you been engaged for? and congrats!

I told every9one the mornign of the wedding that tehre was not going to be a wedding. My hubyy was too busy working on his motorcycle to hang the dammed lights in the tent. Although his love for bikes is part of what makes me love him, but I was a pretty emotional and hormonal mess that day. It does go by fast and it seems to me there are parts of the day and night that are hazy and foggy and not truly clear to me. It was a great time though anyways!!! Congrats and have fun next year!!!

Thanks, since christmas just gone. he proposed on christmas morning, after getting me to open my ring box he'd tricked me and wrapped it up all big so i didnt guess it was a ring box.....and he popped the question over a sea of wrapping paper and toys flying round the room!!!! it was THE best christmas present i ever had.... awwww...

My husband desided that he wanted us to write our own vows(I cant spell at 8am LOL)
So anyway i was already preggers so i was moody.
But HE couldnt get his vows out cuz he was crying and all i wanted him to do was shut up.
I felt so bad because everyone was going on and on about how sweet he was and i was just like yeah whatever......It wasnt till i watched the video again that i realized im a bitch.
But its A LOT of work!!!!!

congrats, atleast your not getting married the day before your childs due. I was in the hospital for 8 hours before I got married. I don't know how I walked down the ile with swollen feet & body. I could hardly fit into my dress but I did & 12 hours later I became a mom so no honeymoon for me.

yes we were thinkin of making our own vows up, cos i told my hubby2b that i didnt like the vow "to obey you" i dunno why i dont like it, i just dont like the thought of obeying anyone! anyway that caused a big hoo-haa with him saying why shouldnt you obey me...totally winding me up.. i know it doesnt mean anything i just feel weird about it, what do u reckon? am i being silly?

no i agree and then u get to add ur own little things about ur relationship together.
at our rehersal we said our "funny" vows
i said that i promise not to get mad when all he wants to do is go fishing and play xbox if he agrees to help with the laundry
and he said he promises not to be mad if i spend a butt load of money all the time if i agree to cook dinner one night a week.

it was fun.

yes i want to add little nice bits about us into the vows but hubby2b isnt so keen he's embarrassed to say "soppy" things he said........hmmmmm...we shall see, if i get my way like i usually do then we will do that!! lol

2 years this year. I still remember every second of the day. We had the whole thing in a hotel (i thought it would be hypocritical to have it in a church since we are not religious) and it went by so fast.

Im so excited...yesterday i chose my wedding dress................ahhhh it is sooo beautiful i felt like a princess.....i dont have a good picture yet as it needs altering at the back, but when i get one, you know i'll put it up!!! im in happyland right now......
