I know this may seem silly to some...

...but my kitty cat I've had for over 11 years passed away yesterday.
She was such an unbelieveably sweet cat. She was nothing but wonderful for all of those years...did nothing but love and care for us in the way only a kitty can. I was 11 when we got her... we had just moved to a new city and did wonders for that transition for me. She watched me and my sisters grow up... and could always sense when we needed someone to cuddle with.
RIP Phoebe. We loved you so much.

I'm so sorry. I understand completely. My parents are putting my dog ,Max,down this morning,because he has cancer,and it is in its end stages. I've had him since I was 15.

Once again I'm sorry about your kitty  


BTW- my cat's name was Pheobe also.

My MIL just laid her cat to rest earlier this month. He was 22yrs old. My bf had him every since he was 7 so it was very hard on them. He had got so sick that he didn't go to the bathroom for about a week and according to my MIL you could smell it through his fur.   He also could no longer walk straight he would fall to the side whenever he tried. She just now started to look at some of his old pictures. At first I thought it was silly but now I understand.

awww..im sorry to hear about ur kitty i dont think it funny at all..i have a dog that i have a since i was 11 and she 13 now..i know when she goes im going to be really heart broken too. i mean shes kinda of like ur cat she watched me gorw up and she was always there rather if im having a bad day or a good dat=y..

Yeah... its super hard to watch them go. Especially when they were so sweet and loving for so many years. I wish kitties and dogs lived as long as people....I know my kitty had lightyears more personality than many people I've come across  
She also had this trick she'd do, where when you rubbed her backend, she would lift it up in the air, and hold it there, and everytime you'd rub it more, she'd raise it more. Too cute!! We called it the "butt-upper"..
Think I'm going to start crying again...

I had a cat named Phoebe too. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know that when my dog passes (she's getting up there) that I will be devastated.

I'm sorry, my cat died last October.
it's not silly at all.
I had him since he was a week weeks old. he died when he was 9.
he had asthma, we had to give him an inhaler ( we would spry it into a cup and put it over his mouth.)
well one day when I got home from work he started weezing and my mom tried to give him his inhaler but it didn't help. he was deing, we didn't even have time to take him to the vet.
I had to watch my cat suffocate right infront of me, and could not do anything to help.
I was 10 weeks pregnantand I was HYSTERICAL
it was horrifying

I'm very sorry for you loss, I know how hard it is
