At what age...

My husband will not stop bothering me about what age babies usually sit up, crawl, walk, have rice, cereal, and jar foods. Ha ha. I know that each baby is different but that is kind of the norm?? Thanks

Usually sit up around 4 months.. crawling 'nd walking is different for every baby. But my daughter crawled at 8 months. Rice cereal is usually around 4 months but not sooner. Jar foods.. mine started at 6 months but you always ask your doctor.

My daughter who is now 4 y.o
sit up: 4 months
never crawled
Walk: 8.5 months ( hands free)
rice/cereal: 4 months
jar foods: 5 months
real soft foods: 7 months (like mashd potatoes and soft noodles)

My daughter sat unsupported at 4 months. Started cereal and veggies at 4 months (as per pedi), is 6 months now and is on the verge of crawling.

According to the specialists we had to see sitting up nice and pretty is around 9 months, crawling is after 9 months, standing with supports is after 9 months. Khym was apparently hitting all the 9 month and beyond milestones at his 6 month evaluation. And my family thought that he was 2-3 months slow in doing things!!!  Apparently he's just slow for my family, but still fast for his Dad's.

Like you said, they're all different, but for argument's sake....lol

My daughter
Sat up alone - 4 months
Crawl - 5 months (kinda, it is more like a rowing motion but she sure gets around!)
Rice cereal - 4 months
Jar Foods - 5 months
Pulling herself up onto things - 5 months
She is 5 1/2 months now and she doesnt walk by any means!

my son's 5 months and he refuses to sit unsupported..but he is trying to crawl

My son who is 9 months

Sat with support 5 months
without support 6 months
crawled 7 months
stood up 8 months
rice cereal 3 months

All babies are differnt and the way I look at it babies will do what they want when they want regardless of when they are suppose to do it
