I found out why I am miscarrying.. =(

So my doctor called and said I have type one or two herpes. Gross I know, but its not as bad as it sounds, you can pick it up on a shopping cat, by drinking someone's drink. Basically you can pick it anywhere. ALSO, its not a disease. its a virus. But, for me it was unforchant (sp) that I picked it up when I was pregnant, basically your body is trying to fight off this virus and your body starts to eat the placenta away, killing your baby. =( Good thing about all of this, I can never get it again and it can never make me miscarry again..
Anyone else have this?

were they like in your mouth or where? i never knew herpes were treatable..maybe thats just for the sexual ones..

I'm sorry mama but at least now you know so you can take precautions when you get pregnant again! What will they have you do to stop it from happening again?

Ive never had it but i did not know you could get things these ways. Im going to be carry hand santizer with me everywhere now. that is really scary.

Nope, its not a sexual one!!! thank god. Im discusted enough with the fact that its a viral..

Well, at least they isolated the source and you can prevent it in the future. My sister is still TTC, they think it maybe her blood. I hope they find an answer soon so she can have a baby, its all she wants

I am so sorry for your loss. This happened to my aunt several years ago and she lost a baby. I wish you the very best and you are in my thoughts.
May I ask how far along you were?

My doctor said I'll always have it but my body is ammuned to it. weird huh?

I've never had it as far as I know, but when I was 5months pregnant with my daughter I cought a similar virus called Cytomegalovirus (CMV). Most the time it is caught from infants or toddlers... because Anna was still inuteroher immune system couldnt fight it off and it basically ate away at her nutrients and eventually her heart gave out 3 1/2months later. CMV isalsorelated to herpes, and you can only get it once in life and I was unfortunate to get it while preggo too...

=) my body is ammuned to it, so basically my body wont fight it, I need to research it.

The virus isnt deadly... at least not in healthy people. Hell chicken pox is a type ofherpes

Thats what i said, I started bawling I was like a friend of mine could have given me this and not even known they had it? or a grocery cart... NASTY!

I have type two, where you get it on your lips and around your month. I havnt had one for awhile, if you get one while your pregnant can it make you miscarrie?

Thank you!!! =) Good luck in your pregnancy., first time I was 10 weeks the second was 8wks 5 days. My first one didnt happen because of this virus, I tested postitive to getting it 3wks to 3 months. so sometime in that rage I picked it up.ahh
