BH Contractions??

Ok, as my days draw near I am full of questions...
I have been having these moments where right under my chest gets really really tight. It is almost like a knot, but it doesn't hurt...they aren't consistent, but are occuring more and more often. Is this a braxton hicks contraction? I am 36 weeks and 1 day and already 1 cm dilated...I just am not real sure what this feeling is...Anybody else experience this?

it sounds like it is... trsust me when you have a contraction.... boy do you know... they are way down in your area and they usually last... it feels like your muscles are pulling apart...

Well that is what I was thinking too, but I have had some people tell me that they were having contractions that didn't hurt so I was like okay...so how will I know...lol...I am very parnoid that I won'tknow, but this feeling that I keep getting is just weird and I havn't felt it the whole pregnancy...it is only getting stronger too...

Well honestly everyone has a different rate of pain they can take and it is different for everyone... but If they start feeling like really bad peroid cramps... try taking a warm shower or bath for 30 mins, and relax.. if they don't go away.. then call L&d. I went into labor on friday.. at first i felt like i had a huge tummy ache, and called L&d but they told me what i told you, they didn't go away and i went in and sure enough i was in labor. they stopped it though.

I didn't know I was having real contractions. They just felt like period cramps. I timed them, and that's how I knew they were real. Every pregnancy/labor is different.
