What is truth?

So do you ladies think that there is a such thing as absolute truth? How about right and wrong? Or do you think that it's all up to a personal discretion? Should right from wrong be defined?

I believe that "absolute truth" exists, and it is reached when all parties in the situation agree upon the facts of what happened.

Truth is a different issue to right and wrong. Right and wrong has a moral and ethical standpoint, truth is about transparency and fact.

I think all of us have the ability to distinguish between right and wrong. One persons personal discretion could be wrong in another person's eyes. I do think that our versions of right and wrong can be influenced by our surroundings and how we were taught, but deep down, we are all capable of feeling what is truly right and wrong.

we used to talk about this in Philosophy and I hated it.

No, I don't think there is such thing as universal truth.
Well buddha this is hard to explain lol. Certain things are universally truthful, such as math equations etc. But when it comes to philosophy and what can be subjected to human mind I don't think there is a universal truth. What someone believes and experiences as the ultimate truth, is in itself the truth to them. But it's also the same for someone who experiences and believes something else as the ultimate and unequivocal truth.
I hate having to explain this...It never comes out right.
