Advice needed from fellow co-sleeping Moms
posted 14th Aug
I have been co-sleeping with my son since he was born. Most nights, he starts off in his crib and joins me in bed after his first feeding. Anyways, recently, when it comes to nap time, he has wanted to co-sleep. Sometimes I don't mind taking a nap with him during the day, but sometimes, a Mommy just needs some Mommy Time (and doesn't need TWO naps a day).
Is there anything I can do to get him to sleep on his own during the day, while continuing to co-sleep at night? Any (non-discriminatory) suggestions would be appreciated.

I would put him in his crib and let him cry it out. He will eventually fall asleep, even at night. My husband and I did that co-sleeping thing for the first month I think and then we moved them to the crib, I just can't sleep that well with a baby because it makes me nervous. A friend of mine never did that on the letting them cry it out, her daughter is 4 years old now and still sleeps with her in the bed. If you want the sleeping time to yourself I would suggest that otherwise I really don't think that there is anything you can do about it. Good luck!
