Quoting ~*Georgie*~:“ Ok! Thanks!! So if I continue using the evenflo I bought will it still increase my milk supply? I'm pumping ... [snip!] ... I thought my milk had increased but if I need a hospital grade pump to really increase the supply then I will get one! THANKS!!”
Breastmilk is supply and demand so if you want enough milk to feed him with every bottle you need to pump for atleast 15 min everytime you give him a bottle. If your not BF him at all then I would suggest maybe doing it for 20 min. I know easier said than done. You can get a special bra though that allows you to do the pumping hands free! If you are not gettting anything out keep pumping you will start to produce more milk because your body will recognize that demand! The pumps that are sold in the store are great don't get me wrong but they are not ment for increasing milk supply! Hope that helps if you have anymore questions let me knoe my MIL is a lactaion consultant I've learne da ton from her!
