Surprising morning sickness cure.

posted 14th Aug
My grandmother gave me the heads up on an awesome morning sickness cure which kinda surprised me so I thought y'all might benifit from it too. She said to keep a few baked potatoes in the fridge and munch on one as soon as I feel morning sickness start to kick in. It works AWESOME. I was kinda skeptical but willing to try anything since I quickly tired of crackers. So, bake up a few and sprinkle some salt on (only salt unfortunately) and give it a try.

P.S.
Anyone else have any cures that don't involve the dreaded cracker?

Hot water with lemon worked for me. That and sour candies.

Eat protein every couple of hours.  It's the only thing that helps me.  I always vomited the potato skins.

Right before bed if you eat something with protein, I would eat cheese or drink a 8 oz glass of milk in the morning I wouldn't be as sick because your body takes a really long time to break those things down and so your body won't feel so hungry when you wake up. It works really well. I got the idea from my mom who's diabetic cuz it works to keep your blood sugar from spiking in the morning and making you sick when you're diabetic and it works well for morning sickness too.

IT's cause it's hard to be sick when you're unconscious!

i figured this out when i was at the peak of my morning sickness and couldn't eat anything but potatoes, nice and bland w/ a ton of carbs which digest slowly really helped. i was eating baked potatoes for breakfast for several days ...i had to have salt butter and cheese though. it is a good tip

A can of coke or pepsi worked for me. I know caffeine, but at that time I had to do something or I would've been home sick all day. Also chewing gum worked miracles - Wrigley's Doublemint.
