All I know is if my little baby boy goes to school and someone makes fun of him..... ohhhh shit.

I understand how upset you are, I would be too.

Could he just be shy?? Sometimes kids go to school already knowing a kid or two in their class and so at first they cling to that person and tend to ignore other kids they don't know. Talk to his teacher. Being a teacher, I know they appreciate knowing those things and then help him meet kids.....she may partner him with kids like him or help him get involved. Seriously go in & talk to her asap so she knows whats going on. That should help.

And he's a gorgeous boy....I had red hair and was never picked on for it. The first few days of school, even weeks, can be tough. Talk to his teacher, see if that helps! Even if isnt bad, still let her know.....teachers like to know those things.....might as well stop it before it gets worse rather than wait until it is.

Your little guy is adorable!! Kids at that age are just mean! I totally know how you feel. When my son was 6, the older kids in the neighborhood made up a "we hate Bryce" club. He wouldn't even go outside to play after that!He is small for his age, so I think that's why he got picked on. I was absolutely heartbroken! We have since moved from that neighborhood and things are completely different. Don't worry too much momma, your little guy will make lots of friends, my son did and now he won't spend time with me!

i wanted lylian to have red hair   my cousins all have red hair, and they are sooo gorgeous. one boy has red hair, but his dad is a football coach, so all the guys call him red, and it gives him good self esteem about it, so he has never had a problem.i cant imagine him with any other color hair  and the girl cousins with red hair, they are the most beautiful girls ever

I joked with my husband for years that I would make red-headed children because my dad has red hair and I have some too. When she came out, I laughed so hard because I was right  ! And your little one couldn't get any freaking cuter...no matter the hair color!

i was SURE she woul dhave red hair   my bf and i both have red tinted hair, and mycousins have red hair, and my bf's cousins have red hair, and both of us have grandparents and great grandparents with red hair.   sucks. and she got straight hair too, i wanted it to be curly

yeah it does suck for the kids who are different in schools like that. i went to a school like that as well. it sucks. either you have to be mean, or be the one who everyones mean to   poor little guy. kids make me so mad. and yes i have always wanted red hair. i dye it from time to time with the semipermanent natural instincts medium auburn. it looks great   i love it   my hair looks kind of like grace from the show will and grace. when my cousins were born thier parents prayed they wouldnt have red hair, but they did, and now they wouldnt change it for the world
