Concerts

If you attended a concert during pregnancy how far along were you?

I am going to see Montgomery Gentry tonight at 36 wks they are country and we are two seats from the aisle on the floor so I don't think it'll be that big of a deal. No mosh pits or alcohol and such so I feel pretty safe. I did go to a concert while pregnant with Cayden but wasn't anywhere near this far along.

Just wondering if anyone else was this far along and hoping it DOSEN'T produce labor.

I went to concerts until about 36 weeks.  At that point, she was moving like crazy during the concert and probably not enjoying it as much as me.

I was like 8 weeks in front of the amps.  

I was worried the entire time. It was just seats. But I felt my chest vibrate.

I don't know about you though. But if you feel like somethings wrong.. just go somewhere else.

I went to see Great Big Sea a few weeks ago... But it was still too early to worry about labour... But I am high risk, so I wasn't allowed to jump around as much as I normally would... And obviously couldn't drink... But it was still fun

Yeah I have no ambition to jump around so that isnt an issue and the great thing (for me) about this venue is there is no alcohol served so it is really nice not to have to deal with the drunks and alcoholics.

i went to concerts/gigs up until a week before i had Alana..that last one i went to i was 2 days over due.

also my sister went with us to a rock/metal festival for week when she was carrying my nephew... i think she was about 30 weeks and she was fine.

as long as you have your bump pressed up against a huge amp you are ok

I am going to see Motley Crue next week, its an outside concert so I am not to worried. I see no problems with it as long as there is no marsh pits or drugs around me.

I went to a meatloaf concert when i was about 32 weeks and the day before i went into labor i went to see a friends band play and everything was fine...he says he rocked her out of me   lol

Wow, im late on this.. but ive been going to metal concerts for awhile now, and im 29 weeks.. Usually right up at the front too, since its my brother brother playing.

Yeah I went and the concert was great. The dr also approved it just didnt want me up on stage "bouncing around". Just wish I had of had front row so I couldve chose when I sat or stood instead of it depending on the folks in front of me. But I was 36 wks and no early labor so GREAT!
