Exams to check for Dilation

I started having my exams to check for dilation on Tuesday. It was very very uncomfortable..almost to the point of hurting. Well, every since then I have been very sore inside my cervix. It is like I did a lot of exercises and I am aching from it, but I didn't!
Is this normal? Anybody else ache after they got their exams???/

I got 2 in the hospital cause they couldnt find my cervix(its in a weird spot) i cramped for like 2 days

Yes! it hurt like hell everytime up until i got my epidural in the hospital and couldnt feel anything down there lol. [i dreaded those appts]

I had my baby 4 days after being checked for dialation

I had my first internal exam this week, and it was so uncomfortable. I wouldn't say it hurt though, but I had a lot of discharge and some blood for like 3 days after the exam (it was monday, and I've had discharge up until today), so that was the odd part about it to me.

did they strip your membranes or something? i had cramping and some blood from that.

i called my doctor.. cuz im a worry wart. and they same some bleeding is normal after a check. so dont worry. if it became like ALOT i would worry. but i blead too after they checked my cervix.

Thank you to everyone! I thought that it might be normal, but it is just the weirdest feeling. I am a worry wort too and I hate calling the doctor because I know that EVERYONE calls so I thought I would ask my good friends on here...
