C-Section problem

Wondering how many ladies who've had a C-section ended up having problems with it.
Mine, just recently opened up and and started to ooze out. Ekk!! It was nasty and pretty scary. Had to go to get it checked. They told me I had an infection so they drained out and and lefted open for me or my husband to be cleaning it for the next few days. By stuffing it with gauze I.D.K but the Dr. showed my husband how to do it. We are suppost to cleaned it twice a day. I was wondering how many of you had the same problem.

Wow I am sorry that has happened!! I had a c-section, but thankfully I didn't have any problems!! I hope you get better!

did they tell you to dry it with a blow dryer after taking a shower?? That will help with the healing process alot.

Mine is STILL open and I am 3 weeks 3 days PP. I went in and they said that it looks fine but damn I am beginning to wonder if it will ever close up. I also use a blow dryer to dry it. It is open about an inch right in the middle.

I used to always say I wanted a tummy tuck but now I am telling my self I will never have surgery again!!!

My first c-section also opened up but closed up within a week but this one has been open for 2 weeks tomorrow.

Wow. someone who feels my pains and worries!!! I hope it get better for you cause it suck ass so bad. I have been constipated for the last week and a half and this past 3 days i have been getting that feeling to go. You know how when you gotta go it automatically just goes and comes out. Well i'll get that feeling but the shit is so damn rock hard that it won't come out of my end. (Sorry, T.M.I) So i have been strayning now i have another stitch oozin....How can i not go?? I have been back up soooo long. I have to push before i die.

Take stool softeners! I didn't poop for 4 days after i got out of the hospital and kept taking the stool softners and then i was fine. Haha i actually called one of my friends because i finally pooped and it didn't hurt!

That sucks! I have irritable bowel syndrome so I don't think I have ever been constipated.... ever. My stomach is always messed up. I agree with Natalie that stool softners would be good. I hope it gets better for you!

And my incision still looks the same. I have my 6 week check up in ten days and I am going to ask the dr if there is anything that can be done to close it. My in-laws just got a new pool and I am the only one that has not been in it!  It looks like it will be cold by the time this damn thing is healed.

Yeah, umm I have been taking those stool softeners since i was pregnant, it work then a little, but now they are not doing nothing at all. I figure i just stop taking the iron pill.. I went to the Drs. today and she also advice me to stop taking it, she said to make sure i drink lots and lots of water and things like that. I was really suprise when I asked her when will i get suture back and she said they weren't going to do it because the wound will heal and close up all by it self.....Idk...I am very worry. I mean i guess, if i continued to take my Augmentine and keep being treated it will, but at this point it is hard to believe.

What kind of anitbiotics are you taking??? And is your insicion being treated??, you know being stuffed up wit gauze and all that.

for the constipation try eating fiber rich foods, granola bars are great, and oatmeal or fibre one cereals.... and berries or cherries....natural way to get bowels moving and softer bm's

I am not on antibiotics. They said it was not infected. They said if it was infected I would be running fever, it would be oozing smelly puss or red streaks coming from the area. So I am doing nothing just trying to keep it dry. I kinda have skin that hangs over the incision and it sweats alittle under there (eww, I know!).

I hope yours closes. I am 4 weeks PP today and am still worried.
