not sure were this goes...AF problems

posted 14th Aug
My son is at his grandparents and I can’t sleep so I was just going threw some random topics on here.. Well I read in a few of them about MC and bleeding for weeks at a time..

well a couple months ago I had a period that lasted like 3-4 weeks.. (usually it last 3-7 days) I had horrible cramps and I am so sorry TMI and gross.. But the blood had a lot of clots in it..not huge ones..about the size of a quarter and smaller..

I didn’t go to the doctor because I have had crazy periods since my son was born in April of 2007...even on birth control I had a lot of break threw bleeding…also we switched insurances but we hadn’t received the insurance card yet..(I didn’t know at the time you could just go and give them the doctor your account number and they could just bill it..)

I know I am so retarded for not going…but I am just wondering if that could have been a MC? Or was it something to do with my BC? I stopped taking it 6-8 months ago… I know yall aren’t doctors and that I should have went to my ob but I was just wondering what yall thought..

i think if it was just because of coming off of the bc it would've been sooner than 6-8 months.. other than that sorry i cant help you.. but i think you should go to the doctor. if you were pregnant your [wutever that hormone is] level will still be high so you should go soon just to find out ya know? also thats what happened to my mom when she found out she had endymetriosis so it can be serious.. you should go

i wouldn worry about the endometriosis part so much because i have that an the only two ways to make it somewhat go away or eliminate it is to get a hysterectomy or have a baby..since you had a baby it shouldn be a problem right now if you do have it..also your periods would have been excruciatingly horrible and heavy b4 that baby came...

i don think your hgc would be high enough to tell if you think you could have had a mc an you just had some clotting an whatnot i think it would mean if you were pregnant you weren very far along.i mean i had a mc at 2 months an you pretty much have to get a DnC anytime around 2 mnths or after i thought..?i dunno...

hmm.. i am confused now.. i used to have horrible periods.. i would just lay in bed and cry it hurt so bad.. like a charley horse in my belly that wouldnt go away...and they were so heavy..tmi (sorry) but i would have to use a tampon and pad and change every 1-2 hours...but since i had collin they arent that bad at all.. they are actually really light and they are only a little concomfortable..except for that one that lasted so long..it was unbearable..i was popping pain killers like crazy (i had some left from when i had my wisdom teeth cut out..and my husband had our son) and it was really heavy..i think i might go to the doctor just for a check up and tell him about it..

I have horrible periods like that. They started when I was 14. I would end up in the infirmary every month. Doubled over in excruciating pain, throwing up 20 times in 2hours, sick and balled up a full day. When I had my first child, this cleared up real quick. However, about 6 months after, they started getting a little worse, little more each month. They progressed each month until when my daughter was a little past one, they were just as bad again. Then, I got pregnant with my son. It eased up after his birth, then tried to come back after his, but I had an IUD put in. I guess what I'm trying to say that if it is problems with just AF there are ways to ease the pain. If you think it is MC, go to the doc. If it was, there would likely be remains of the pregnancy from not having a D n C to clean you out. I would have them check.

It could be many things or it could be nothing at all. But the post about not worrying about Endometirosis..I wouldnt listen to. Endometriosis can be a horrible thing. Yes to truely get rid of it youd have to have a hysterectomy. Having a baby doesnt get rid of it just makes it null for the duration of the pregnancy. Endo... flares up when you have your period. Thats when you would be in the most pain. Same with having cysts on your overies.

Endometriosis can cause pelvic pain, severe menstrual cramping, painful intercourse, premenstrual staining, heavy periods, diarrhea, blood in the urine and stool, and infertility

Endometriosis also may put you at a higher risk for cancer andshould be monitored regularly... Cancers include.... malignant melanoma, breast andovarian cancers.
Just trying to give you more information. The best thing you can do is go to the doctor let them know what was goingon let the run test/take a pap culture and then give you the results. That is the only way you will find out if it is something serious or nothing to worry about. Why worry if youdont have to right? You have ins, use it
