3rd trimester u/s

Did you or did you not have an ultrasound towards the endof your pregnancy to determine if the baby was head down?

they just felt my tum and said she was head down... I am not getting anymore u/s, my last one was at 28 weeks.

I didn't have one to see if she was head down or not. They did one to check and see how she was growing since I have only gained 6 lbs.. I went up to 10 lbs and then I have lost 4 lbs.

I have had nst test di-one and u/s to see my fluid levels and the nurse always checks to make sure mine is still head down and that its still a boy .

um they are supposed to do one at 8 weeks one around 17 weeks and one between 32 to 36 weeks

I didnt have another u/s after I found out my son was a boy. They just felt to see if he was head down or not.

I had my last medical one at 20 weeks and I paid for a 3d one at 30 weeks but he wasn't head down by then. We found out he was head down by feeling my belly and when my doctor checked my cervix he poked him in the head haha

if ur military u only get one at 18-20 weeks, unless theres complications u may get more

My doctor doesn't believe in more then 2 ultrasounds so I had one at 8 weeks then one at 20-23 weeks, but usually if you ask your doctor they will do it for you

Not necessarily. I had one at 8 weeks to confirm and because I was having some spotting, then one at 19 weeks for anatomy and gender. Those are the only ones I'll get unless a problem arises. You dont need one later on unless you are considered high-risk, or if there seems to be a problem.

My doc told me that after my 28 week appointment they will send me for another u/s. I think it's more to check for size, date andanything out of the ordinary. Position at that point wont be all that critical as the baby still moves a lot in the early part of the third trimester.
