Should I be concerned?

I am 17 weeks pregnant and for the last few days it has felt like someone has been poking their finger in my belly from the inside. It hurts for a second, then it is gone. Three days ago it was on my right side just below my belly button, but now it is on the left side a little higher up. I only feel them every so often, but is it something I need to have checked out? I am not bleeding or anything else, just having terrible headachs! Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Thats how I described the baby kicking at 18 weeks but it wasn't painful...

Growing pains would be my guess. Babies don't really land painful kicks until they're bigger.
