Swimming Baby

posted 13th Aug
My little one is too small for little swimmers quite yet but, I was wondering if there is another product out there for smaller babies... like 9-10 pounds. Does anybody know of anything?

I have this problem too. I have just been using the smallest swimmer I can find and just rolling them down. But my little one has some thunder thighs so they fit his legs perfect

Kushies makes reusable cloth diapers and you can get them in smaller sizes - or if you get the velcro closure ones you can pull them tighter. I used them on my son at 9lbs.

I think the small Kushies swim diapers would fit

i actuallty asked about this a few weeks ago... you can use a regular diaper... people suggested i get the smallest little swimmers and just folded them down, but id rather save the $ for a diaper that FITS... but target also has a little swim diaper that looks like swim trunks you can use as well. you dont HAVE to have a diaper with that, but i use one anyway.

the smallest sizes of any swim diapers (disposable) fits a minimum of 16 lbs... sucks for the lil guys!

well, it actually says 12lbs, but like the other poster said, you could probably pull it tighter

The kushies are cloth! So you can use em over and over... and 1 actually costs less than a package of disposable!

So this is totally gross, but I baby sit this 4 year old who isn't potty trained (he's semi potty trained, but keeps "relapsing", he had a bad family life when he was little and we think it's partly due to that and wanting any kind of attention) but when he goes swimming he just uses his normal Pull Up. It's never leaked or anything...

He had his first poop "accident" and when he took his pull up off and I saw a big turd I started to gag. I can deal with a baby diaper, I can deal with baby poop on me, but I can not deal with big turds!!! Riley better be potty trained by the time she's 3. Her cousin was potty trained by 2 1/2 so I'm aiming at that!
