Back pain!

my back is killing me!! its like i cant even sit up in a chair for very long with out horrible pain, its my back and hips and its all the time now. I try to lay down but cant get comfortable ... anyone have any advice?? im going to the dr tomorrow and im going to ask him then but it hurts so bad.. and my feet and ankles as well.

Have you tried sleeping with a pillow between your legs?

try sleeping with a pillow to suport your bump =]

I agree with both PP. I slept with a body pillow between my legs that wrapped up under my belly and then I cuddled it in my arms, made me much more comphy!

Feet and ankles... are they swollen? Sounds like you have edema... totally normal, I had very severe edema so trust me, I know what you're going through.

The back however sounds similar to how I felt when I went into labor, I'd recommend getting checked asap if it hurts that bad.

use a body pillow when you sleep... keep your feet propped up... take tylenol maximum strength... that's what i do

i do have a body pillow and it does help me when im super tired but it makes me feel hotter. ITs still about 100 degrees and all we have is a swamp cooler and fans so...

its not like cramps, its like just all the time. its been happening this past week or so.

the pillow is a great idea i agree , does help me sleep.

Back pain comes with the territory sorry, do try the pillow it helps, I sleep with a body pillow. Also I take tynol and have my husband rub my back sometimes that is a life savor. Also try a heating pad set on low that can help too. Good luck we all feel your pain!!

is using a heating pad ok?? that would be awesome if i could use it, i do have a couple some place put away that i would have to make some one look for.

Have you ever tried "cats and camels"? You get on your hands and knees and raise up your back like a scared cat. Then you drop in down as far as you can. It's supposed to strenghen your lower back. I think it just feels better to get on my hands and knees for a few minutes and stretch. Otherwise I lay on the couch with a big pillow between my knees and a small one behind my lower back.

My doc okayed the heated pad! I used a vibrating heated pad. I did try to keep it off of my belly though! Didn't want him to come out all crazy!
