simple Q

How the heck can u get cig smoke smell outta stuff??? I had to leave some of my sons things at my MIL and FIL house and they both smoke, so now that Ive brought it into my house it kinda reeks of smoke... is there a spraythat i can use to get it out that issafe to use around a newborn??? Logan will be here in about 2 weeks so... any thoughts???

I would wash as much of it as you can and febreeze the rest.

can you not wash them? if not, febreeze smells good and there are countless other sprays out there now that smell yummy. check the cleaning aisle.

if it's clothes/bedding i'd wash everything in hot water with baby detergent maybe more than once to make sure it's clean. that's what my sister did with my nephew's things and it came out fine. as for hard surfaces like toys, etc i'd try hot water and little bit of bleach and let them soak and then rinse well. hope that helps!

Simple green in the wash

Spray what you can't wash with febreeze , i'd even set it outside ( granted its nice out..) & let them air out as mch as possible..

Thanks ladies... I was just really worried because ive got really bad allergies that affect my breathing and I thought that he might take after me and have bad breathing problems too... I hope not, I know I worry too much...
